Community of Young Musicians
With a group of ten members from ages eleven to twenty-four, we are a very young spirited group. We each bring something different to the group that helps us grow, and learn to accept one another. We all work towards a common goal as group to inspire the youth, and the community we live in. We are always willing to perform at community events because it allows us to bring awareness about the diversity in the community.
Another goal we try to achieve is projecting our love of mariachi music when performing, and bringing entertainment to our audience while allowing them to embrace something cultural. We each feel that it is important to stay close to our Mexican culture and feel grateful that we are able to show our culture by doing something we love to do.
Because we are so young we are all very close. We each feel this helps us learn to communicate well with one another, and perform as a group and not individual musicians. With a group name that means 'hearts on fire', we all try to live up to that and are each proud that we are able to share this beautiful traditional music with everyone.
